Making our own wormery!
Lunchtime Eco Club Summer 2022
Eco club is back up and running here are some of the things the children have been doing with great enthusiasm
- Picking up litter around the school grounds and the common.
- Composting the fruit waste from snack time and keeping the compost bins clean and fresh.
- Keeping a check on the pond weed and the pond life in Creature corner
- Making bird feeders to keep the birds well fed at this important time of year.
Harvest
We harvested our crops, grown in the common, and the cook kindly cooked us some things to try with them. We enjoyed trying the foods she made.
