As Junior Travel Ambassadors we have so far held an assembly, explaining how to keep safe in the dark. The pupils were told to wear bright and reflective items to keep them safe. We launched our first competition, to draw an animal with bright clothes. We didn't get many entries, but managed to pick a KS1 winner, Layla and a KS2 winner, Brooke. They each won a goodie bag, which will hopefully encourage others to enter our next competition.
As JTA's we would like to remind parents to park sensibly and considerately at the beginning and end of the school day. Please do not park in the bus lane and the school car park is for staff only. Keep your children safe and find another space. When collecting your children at the end of the day the car park is not a safe place to wait. The best place to wait is the pathway outside the barn.

Travel Banner Competition
We received 30 entries for our competition, to design a banner to be displayed outside of school. After much deliberating we managed to chose our winner, and runners up. We are pleased to announce that Isabelle, from Raccoon class, won the competition. We particularly liked the wise owl that accompanied our slogan 'Park Wise Keep Us Safe'. Our runners up were Brodie for KS1 and Livia for KS2. The banner will hopefully be with us after the Easter holidays.
