Continuous Line Drawings

Children who have previously attended Art Club at school will recognise the continuous line drawing activity. This become a popular activity after persisting with the skill - it is challenging and takes practice. As we have practiced drawing faces with a continuous line drawing technique before, you may like to focus on portraiture again, or choose a small object to draw.

Continuous line drawing with coloured pencil

This is a continuous line using a coloured pencil. This activity is brilliant for hand-eye co-ordination and advances children's fine-motor skills.

Continuous line drawing with pen

Continuous line drawings using pen can be easier for children participating in this activity as the pen will flow on the page without requiring sharpening. Pens of any size and colour can be used, just try not to lift the pen.
