Congratulations to Elisha, who was awarded the Rotary Star for this term. She works so hard in school to follow the Ashbeach Code and be a good role model, even though she finds things tough at times. She has also worked hard to develop positive relationships in school. Well done Elisha, we are very proud of you!
The children slept really well after their long walk yesterday. They have stripped their beds, packed and had a good breakfast and this morning will be doing activities in the grounds of the house based on trees before lunch and their journey home.
The children have had a long and windy but lovely walk today and have found lots of treasure. They are now on their way back to Burwell House. They had a fabulous lunch but are looking forward to their evening meal. Everyone is a little tired but happy.
Well done to the children who performed at St. Mary's church Harvest Festival on Sunday. They did a brilliant job and wowed the congregation. Thanks to Mrs Goater (and her mum) for organising the children.
The activities this morning were nightline (a leader guides the blindfolded team through an obstacle course) and low ropes. There has been lots of crawling through muddy tunnels. Everyone has enjoyed themselves but be prepared for lots of washing!
All slept well. Activities this morning included the climbing wall and zip wire and this afternoon they will be doing canoeing and archery. The weather has stayed dry so far.
